It arrived yesterday and I installed it on the below rather embarrassing rig. Can't wait to try it out on my new rig when it arrives though.
However unfortuently as the vanilla game even on the lowest settings stressed this PC to its limits, mods were near-impossible to play. It also has a vast amount of well-done modifications available for it based on various genres, such as Babylon 5, Battlestar Galactica (reimagined series'), Star Trek, Star Wars, etc. For those of you that don't know, Sins of a Solar Empire is a space-based RTS released in 2008, it is that perfect blend between a real time strategy game and a turn-based global conquest game. The Trinity edition includes the original game aswell as both of the mini-expansion packs.
So, after having heard so much about this rare gem of an RTS game I decided to purchase the Trinity edition for £10 seeming as it was in stock for once.
